a little about myself...

I was born in Peace River, Alberta, which is a small town in the northern part of the province, in western Canada. I currently live in Edmonton.

I got into photography in my mid-late 20's after many years singing in a band. My dad had bought me a small point and shoot camera before a cross Canada tour. He said something about it being a little odd not having a camera for such an adventure. Looking back now it is clear to see that my obsession with photography started then on that trip.

For some years I had no interest in portraits. Over time that changed, and soon enough it become all I wanted to do. I don't know where I would be without photography, it has saved my life, it has made me a better version of myself. There are always more ways to grow, and for that I am very thankful.
